(introductory workshops begin in the spring; not classes but circles of sound, play, and healing)
This phase is about tuning inward. You learn to recognize your own vibe, strengthen your self‑awareness, and anchor yourself in a truth that holds even when tested. Before you connect with anyone else, you must be aligned with yourself. Knowing your vibe protects you from being pulled into other people’s chaos and helps you discern who to engage with—and who to avoid—to stay in alignment.
Our listening nests are calm, intentional spaces where young people can feel heard without pressure, fixing, or judgment. Grounded in trauma‑informed, youth‑centered practice, they align naturally with the Soft Skills Studio approach. For Gen Z and Gen Alpha—who often navigate overstimulation and emotional noise—these nests offer a chance to slow down, name what they’re feeling, and be received without correction. It’s a simple, quiet reset for the nervous system.
Harmony Circles are intentional in‑person spaces where young people learn to understand themselves, connect with others, and build emotionally safe relationships. Through storytelling, music‑inspired metaphors, and restorative practices, youth explore who they are and how they show up in community. The core belief is simple: when you know your own vibe, you can create healthier harmony with the people around you.
